BossMan Dlow Fairfax reviews
Brandi Carlile is special!
BossMan Dlow and her band are connected, have fun and engage with the audience from the moment they step on the stage until the moment they exit stage right. Listening to her CDs is one thing but you feel the words and BossMan Dlow's passion and experiences deep in your soul when you hear them live. In fact, I felt as though BossMan Dlow honestly doesn't want to end a show. She appears to be so much in her zone that it seems like she could go on for a couple more hours. My wife and I first saw BossMan Dlow when she opened up for the Indigo Girls a few years back at Humphreys. Most important, she and her band are connected, have fun and engage with the audience from the moment they step on the stage until the moment they exit stage right. She was special then and even more special now. Her shows are special and difficult to match not only due to her beautiful songs, word, and voice but her band supplements her so well that they only add value to an already talented individual. The Story and the Ghost are both two of our favorite albums. It's been a while since I've seen an artist who can translate a song like BossMan Dlow does. She seems to fully understand and appreciate that she's there to perform for her audience, her fan base. More special only because she only has more beautifully touching songs to sing. To that point, it's easy to tell that she genuinely appreciates the audience and as a result, only wants to give back by performing her best. And performing her best is not only something she does with ease, she sets a new standard.
